““SMT initially had 2 of our senior Component Inspection Technicians take the IDEA ICE-3000 inspector’s exam back in March 2007. They found the exam to be broadly comprehensive and very well thought out and prepared. They felt that the test had thoroughly challenged their investigative inspection skills while at the same time enhancing the quality of their inspection work here at SMT. Our Quality Manager, Kim Costa, was so impressed with the experience that in August 2007 she requested 2 more of our senior inspectors take the test as well.
